How to book transportation
Most clients book transportation 48 hours in advance, though same-day requests are sometimes possible depending on caregiver availability. We typically require a 4-hour minimum booking, which usually covers the drive, the appointment, the wait, and the return trip with a stop at the pharmacy. For long appointments (chemo, dialysis), we book longer blocks.

Extended Travel Available

2. Do you stay with my loved one through the appointment, or just drop them off?
We stay. That is what accompany care means. The caregiver walks your loved one in, sits with them through the visit, takes notes on what the doctor said, asks the questions you wanted asked, and brings them safely home with any prescriptions picked up along the way.
3. Do you have wheelchair-accessible vehicles?
Yes. Our vehicles accommodate wheelchairs, walkers, and rollators. Caregivers help with transfers in and out of the vehicle. Let us know in advance about specific mobility equipment so we send the right vehicle.
4. Is transportation hourly or per trip?
Hourly. We bill in hourly increments rather than per-trip flat rates, so a longer-than-expected appointment does not surprise you with extra charges. Minimum booking is typically 4 hours.
5. How much notice do you need to book transportation?

6. Can you drive to medical appointments outside Pittsburgh?
Yes. We regularly drive to Westmoreland County (Greensburg, Murrysville), Butler County (Cranberry Township, Wexford), and other surrounding areas. A small mileage add-on applies for trips outside Allegheny County, quoted in advance.
7. How much does senior transportation cost in Pittsburgh?
Senior transportation and accompany care follow our standard Pittsburgh region rate: $25-$35 per hour. Mileage is included for trips within Allegheny County. Long-term care insurance and Medicaid waivers may cover transportation when medically necessary.
